Well, it's that time of year to have some fun. The boiling temperatures of summer are finally over and the best riding of the season is NOW! Thunder Road is finally able to start doing some events and this month they start.
On October 14th, we are doing a Bike Night at Shannies, on the North side of town. It's the first one in a long time and the last one of the year. The event will be from 6pm to 9pm and proceeds will be going to a local charity.
October 23rd, we are proud to be hosting the first annual race before the race, Dyno Shoot Out. 3 classes with winner and runner up awards, as well as the crowning of the, "Dyno King," with a huge prize fighters belt showing who's bike is not to be messed with. We are also doing single dyno runs just to see what your bike is currently pumping out as far as HP and Torque. All the proceeds will be going to the Victory Junction Gang Charity.
Participants of the contest will grab a goody bag which will contain an exclusive Dyno Days shirt, Thunder Road's hat, some swag, and lunch. All of that pays for the price of the admission alone. Remember, this is all for a kid's charity, so please plan on attending and giving a little to those that need it.
Thunder Road is also sponsoring the, "Bikers Against Trafficking," event that same day. The event is open to cars and bikes, and will take place at Compassion Church in Danville. It should be a great event for an important cause and we are pleased to be a sponsor.
This year, we will also be a Toy's for Tot's drop off location. We love to give back to the community and you and your family can be a part of that as well. Drop off boxed unwrapped gifts and spread the holiday cheer.
I hope to see you at one, if not all of the events this month. Ride safe! JR
p.s. Just a reminder that all Military, and First Responders receive a 10% discount daily on all P/A and Motorclothes items priced at regular price. Just our way of saying thank you from our family to yours. Because of your service, we enjoy our freedom and safety to ride in this great Country. God bless you all.
